Iota Sigma Pi Guidelines for Chapter Web Pages
- Do not use your Web page to promote personal issues
- Follow conventional standards of ethics and polite
conduct.
- Do not use your Web pages to harm other people.
- Do not appropriate other people's intellectual
output.
- Think about the social consequences of the Web
pages you write.
- Use your Web pages and computer in ways that show
consideration and respect.
- As a nonprofit organization, Iota Sigma Pi has a
particular responsibility to avoid any question about
its affiliation with, sponsorship of, or endorsement
of political issues or organizations. Therefore,
web pages may not be constructed in such a manner as
to establish or support political causes
- Violations of these guidelines will result in the
removal of links from the National Iota Sigma Pi web
site to the chapter web site.
Examples of items that are good to include on a chapter's web site:
- List of officers' names and contact information
- Information about outreach activities in the chapter
- Photos of chapter activities, including initiations
- Schedule of meeting dates including times, and speakers
